Accommodation 🏘️: I stayed at the 📍 Taoye Hotel near Taoxichuan, which is conveniently located for visiting attractions and trying local cuisine. The hotel has a great environment, is warmly decorated, and offers a beautiful night view.
Specialty Cuisine 🍱:
📍 Porcelain Capital Aunt Hua's Private Kitchen
This trip to Jingdezhen was well worth it, with enjoyable experiences and satisfying meals. We dined at Aunt Hua's Private Kitchen, a highly recommended hidden gem by locals. The Cold Frog Salad and Patterned Braised Pork are their signature dishes, not found elsewhere. After trying them, my friends and I really liked them.
📍 Spicy Xiaobai Barbecue
This place was quite a pleasant surprise. We ordered a full table with friends, and everything met our expectations. Especially the signature Fiery Beef, served sizzling on a skewer! The Lychee with Pineapple was so refreshing that I'll definitely come back to Jingdezhen for it.
📍 Wild Origin WILD ORIGIN (China Ceramics Museum Store)
After visiting the ceramics museum, we stopped by this restaurant because my friend liked the name. Those who appreciate ambiance will love this place. The environment is great, and the food is both visually appealing and delicious. I enjoyed their pizzas, beef burgers, and pancakes.
📍 Grandma's Cold Noodles (Imperial Kiln Museum Store)
In Jingdezhen, you can't miss the local specialties. For someone who loves spicy food like me, this place hits the spot. The Cold Noodles, Soul-Stealing Chicken Feet, and Dumpling Cakes are a must-try. If you're not a fan of spicy food, you can balance it with some desserts.
📍 Gao Shu Shu · Jiangxi Old Casserole
A friend who works locally recommended this place, and I tried it out while visiting. There's a good variety of dishes, and the portions are generous. The Tea Pot Beef Brisket Cold Noodles, Casserole Rat Noodles, Sliced Boiled Pork, and Potato Chip Chicken are their signature dishes, and they taste great.
📍 Hui Aunt's Canteen
This is a place that both Old Wang and Wang Xun have checked in! I came here as recommended, and the taste is indeed excellent. I recommend trying their Stir-Fried Meat, as well as the Stir-Fried Dragon and Half Table Fish, which are must-order dishes!
