This time, I spent three days in Guilin and Yangshuo, and it was truly a worthwhile trip! Although the distance between Guilin and Yangshuo is a bit far, you won't regret it. The high-speed train from Guilin to Yangshuo takes only 20 minutes, or you can take a taxi or a boat🛥️.
It's recommended to spend one day in Guilin city and two days in Yangshuo!
Accommodation🏨:
Day 1: Stay near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area while exploring Guilin city;
Days 2-3: Stay near West Street in Yangshuo while exploring there.

📍 Xie Sanjie's Traditional Pot Dishes
I had heard about this place before, and I decided to try it out on this trip. To my surprise, it was quite delightful 🥰 My friends and I ordered beer fish, pot-braised beef with tomatoes, pot-roasted chicken, garlic-flavored oil lettuce, and pot-roasted scallion chicken. Everything tasted great. I saw others ordering snail duck feet hotpot and Li River shrimp, but we had limited stomach space, so we'll try those next time!

Travel Tips:
1️⃣ Guilin Station is the closest to the city center, followed by Guilin North Station. Both have bus and taxi services, but Guilin West Station is farther away.
2️⃣ The bamboo rafts at Elephant Trunk Hill are electric, and the experience is a bit noisy and short. For a better experience, choose Yulong River bamboo rafting in Yangshuo.
3️⃣ When taking a bamboo raft, prepare extra clothes, waterproof bags, and raincoats in advance, as buying them on-site will be much more expensive.
4️⃣ It's not recommended to drive in the city center, as the attractions are concentrated, and walking, taking a taxi, or using shared bikes are all convenient options.
5️⃣ Many places serve delicious Guilin rice noodles, so you don't need to queue at a specific one.
6️⃣ In Yangshuo, you don't need to rent an electric scooter inside the scenic area; check around your hotel, as it's more convenient for returning the scooter.
7️⃣ West Street in Yangshuo is lively at night but can be a bit noisy. If you prefer quiet, consider staying elsewhere.
8️⃣ There are many souvenir shops on West Street, but it's cheaper to buy from supermarkets, and they can also ship items home for you. @LifeShu
