Just returned from a round trip around Hainan
Absolutely loved Wanning all the way
Palm trees, beaches 🏝️, surfing, and playing in the water 🏄♂️, crystal clear sea 💦
So free and chill, perfect for a relaxing vacation ⛱️
I've put together an itinerary and some off-the-beaten-path scenic spots that are worth visiting

Places Worth Visiting in Wanning
1️⃣ Sun River Scenic Bridge: The beach surrounded by the sea on three sides is stunning, with few people and lots of seashells 🐚
2️⃣ Shimei Bay Beach: The Sea View Pavilion offers a panoramic view of the entire beach. The downhill road leads to the beach, where there's a very chill campsite. Further ahead is the La Plage Beach Bar at Le Méridien and a photo spot, followed by Jili Bookstore and the Goofydog seaside swing.
3️⃣ Shenzhou Peninsula Lighthouse: A lighthouse featured in the movie 'Lost Her,' but the highlight is the beautiful coconut tree-lined road leading to the lighthouse. It's a great place for a bike ride, enjoying the sea breeze, and watching the sunset 🌄
4️⃣ Mountain and Sea Wave People: The rocky beach is beautiful, and sitting under the trees, enjoying the sea breeze, is very pleasant. There's a stone platform on the mountain top that overlooks the entire bay.
5️⃣ Riyue Bay: Perfect for those who love lively places, with surfing, water activities, and many chill shops.

It's cheaper to fly to Haikou Meilan Airport, which is right next to the high-speed rail station.

🚗 Alternatively, you can rent a car at the airport and drive for about 2 hours.
